Escuminac, located on the south shore of Miramichi Bay, is a village in New Brunswick. The village has the status of local service district. There were 212 inhabitants in 2011.
On June 19, 1959, 35 fishermen in Escuminac and the surrounding area were killed in a hurricane.
The Escuminac wharf, more than two miles long, is said to be the longest wharf in Canada.
