Pointe-Verte, on the edge of Chaleur Bay, is an Acadian fishing village located in northeastern New Brunswick on the Acadian Coastal Route. There were 886 inhabitants in 2016.
Fishing has always been the economic center of the community. They fish for lobster, scallops and cod.
Pascal Lejeune (singer-songwriter) and Danny Boudreau (singer-songwriter) are from Pointe-Verte.
