Rogersville, located 90 km north of Moncton and 35 km south of Miramichi, is a village in eastern New Brunswick. It had 1170 inhabitants in 2011.
According to Wikipedia, Rogersville was founded by the clergy to counter the exodus of Acadians. The name Rogersville comes from the name of the Catholic Bishop James Rogers (1826-1903). The place was previously called Carleton Station.
